British-born Nigerian rapper Equation Billionz (EQB) has disclosed that Grammy winner, Burna Boy has been a big inspiration for his musical career.
He made this known recently during a media meet and greet event on Victoria Island, Lagos.
The rising star said, “Burna Boy has been a really big inspiration for me like coming up as well and when he won the Grammy I felt like I had won it because I was rooting for him so hard you know, he deserved it. I will like to do something with Burna Boy soon, I have a lot of other artists, like Wizkid, Davido, Tiwa Savage, and Tems as well,” said EQB.

The 18-year-old whose real name is Adam Efiong Ephraim revealed the reason for his visit back home saying, “I’ve been in and out of Nigeria but mainly the sound, culture here really inspires me to write. I did a song with Teni. I do not really do collaborations but I’m looking to do more collaborations.”
He however noted that his single titled ’Nowadays’ with Teni in 2021 was an eye-opener in his musical journey, “After I dropped a song with Teni, that’s when I said okay this is serious because I knew that I couldn’t just do a song with Teni and not do anything again, like that was the wake-up call for me that this was serious. Benz is out right now”, said EQB.
