The Nigerian Guild of Editors (NGE) has announced October 21 and 22 as the dates for its 17th annual All Nigerian Editors’ Conference (ANEC) in Abuja.

The guild, in a joint statement on Sunday by its President Mustapha Isah and Secretary General Iyobosa Uwugiaren, said the theme of the conference is: Media In Times of Crisis: Resolving Conflict, Achieving Consensus.

The NGE said the scheduling of the annual conference was among the decisions it reached at a meeting of its Standing Committee last week in Dutse, the Jigawa State capital.

The guild added that it also took some positions on various issues, after extensive deliberations.
