The Council of Osun State Traditional Rulers yesterday mourned the death of the wife of Akire of Ikire Oba Olatunde Falabi, Olori Anthonia Falabi.
A statement by the Press Secretary to the palace of Akire, Chief Muritala Falana, said the traditional rulers were led by the Chairman of Osun State Council of Obas, the Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi, expressed condolences to Oba Falabi.

“Oba Ogunwusi, who was represented by the Orangun of Oke Ila, Oba Adedokun Abolarin, described the late queen of Akire as a typical example of an African woman, whose love for her husband knew no bound.
“Olori Anthonia Falabi, even in death, remains a heroin, who will forever be remembered for being a symbol of peace, love and unity.
“Oba Falabi appreciated the executives and members of Osun State Council of Obas for commiserating with the entire people of Ikire.”
