Super Eagles static in latest FIFA Ranking

Nigeria’s Super Eagles remained in 34th  place in the latest FIFA Ranking released by the world football governing body.

Senegal remains the top-rated team in Africa ranked 20th  while Tunisia is second-rated 25th in the world. Algeria and Morocco occupied third and fourth places in the continent and ranked 30th and 33rd in the world.

Nigeria occupies fifth place in the continent as the 34th ranked team in the world.

Also, Euro 2020 finalists England pushed world champions France is out of the top three in the latest men’s soccer rankings.

Belgium remained the top-ranked side, followed by Brazil. European champions Italy, on a record unbeaten international run of 37 matches, are fifth with Argentina sixth.

Third place equals England’s highest ranking in 2012. Gareth Southgate’s side lost on penalties to Italy in the Euro 2020 final at Wembley in July and were World Cup semi-finalists in Russia in 2018.

France went out of Euro 2020 in the round of 16.
