Speaker of the House of Representatives, Rep. Femi Gbajabiamila, has described the Oba of Lagos, Oba Rilwan Akiolu as a pillar of hope and unity.
In a statement signed by his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Lanre Lasisi, the Speaker congratulated the Oba on his 78th birthday.
Gbajabiamila said the Lagos Monarch has been a great inspiration to leaders across the country, noting that his leadership qualities are unique.

The Speaker said at 78, Oba Rilwan Akiolu has demonstrated uncommon commitment and dedication to the growth and development of his people and Nigerians as a whole.
He said he was personally proud of the Oba of Lagos, whom he described as a pillar of hope and unity.
Gbajabiamila noted with delight the selfless service of the Oba of Lagos since his ascension to the throne in 2003, saying Oba Rilwan Akiolu has been a father to all.He prayed for more fruitful years in good health and increased wisdom for the Oba of Lagos.
