The Benin Medical Care (BMC) has said it has recorded no maternal mortality since its inception in 2019.
Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Dr. Oluwagbemiga Durojaiye disclosed this yesterday during the second year anniversary celebration of the hospital held in Benin.
He said the hospital, established by the Lift Above Poverty Organisation (LAPO), was set up to uplift the health condition of the populace through provision of quality health care services.
Durojaiye said the hospital has had 270 deliveries since inception through normal deliveries and cesarean sessions with no record of maternal mortality.
