NAPOLI sports director Cristiano Guintoli is upbeat Victor Osimhen will be fit for Sunday’s Serie A clash against Hellas Verona.
Osimhen has missed the club’s last two games against Salernitana and Legia Warsaw due to injury.
The 22-year-old picked up the injury in training last week.
The Nigeria international returned to training on Tuesday but was omitted from the 4-1 win against Polish club Legia Warsaw on Thursday.
Guintoli however expects the striker to be available for the home game against Verona at the Diego Armando Maradona.
“Will Osimhen return against Verona? We will see,” Giuntoli told Sky Sport.
“His problem should be minor as he has trained with the other players.
“We are confident and we look forward.”
