RISING Afropop singer Ogunleye Olawale Michael aka Tha Boy Myles has released his classic tune, ‘Get Loose’.
This is coming after the success of his debut Extended Play (EP) titled, Mylestone EP which was released earlier this year. Since the release of project, the singer has continued to be on a relentless rise, establishing himself at the forefront of a generation of singers who are carrying Afropop into an enthralling direction.
Speaking on the inspiration behind his newest song, Tha Boy Myles said it is borne out enjoying a good time with a love interest.
“Primarily inspired by wanting to enjoy a good time with a love interest. Get Loose, is another glimpse of my savant-like approach to making music and all the directions my music stretches into,” he said.
Continuing the ‘Boma’ singer explained that: “The song is built around a jaunty instrumental that takes inspiration from the log drums of Amapiano and the clever percussion of core Afro-beat. So, I ensure to stretches out my dulcet vocals to match the stride of the beat.”
