The Young Muslims Association (TYMA) in Partnership with the Global Goals for Sustainable Development will today start awareness on prevention of child abuse.
It is part of activities to mark the World Day for the Prevention of Child Abuse.
The event scheduled to hold in six states – Lagos, Rivers, Kwara, Abuja, Ogun and Oyo state – is themed “Your role in ending child labour: Every child deserves love.”
Expected guests at the events scheduled to end on Sunday are Governors Dapo Abiodun, Babajide Sanwo-Olu Seyi Makinde and AbdulRahmon AbdulRasaq, Nyesom Wike, Deputy Governor of Ogun State, Engr Mrs Noimot Salako-Oyedele, Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Minister, Hajia Ramatu Tijani Aliyu and Lagos State Head of Service Lagos, Hakeem Muri-Okunola are also expected.
