Bandits early yesterday attacked a Fulani settlement around Barakallahu community in Igabi council of Kaduna State, killing a man and taking away an unspecified number of cows.

The traditional leader of Barakallahu community, Alhaji Muhammad Abdullahi, told journalists that the incident happened around 12:15 am.
Police spokesman Mohammed Jalige had no information on the incident when the reporter contacted him.
