The Lagos Eko Lions Club has elected Sina Agbeluyi as president for 2021/2022.
During his investiture, Agbeluyi said the club plans to take mobile clinics to the less privileged and also provide communities in the clubs catchment area access to clean water.
He said that the club under his purview will be working in line with its International objectives and mandate.
The objectives and mandate, he said, include protecting the environment, feeding the needy, providing medical services and help improve the society in all ramifications.
District 404A1 Nigeria Governor Fortune Wagbatsoma in her goodwill message, urged Agbeluyi to focus on improving membership satisfaction through a team approach.
She advised the president to seek out new local partnerships that address the clubs five global cause of vision, diabetes, paediatric cancer, hunger and environment to spread impact to more beneficiaries.
She added that the district year will focus on enhancing the clubs service journey through building ‘Bonds of Kindness’.
The former president, Agnes Aremo thanked members for giving her an opportunity to serve.
She promised to support Agbeluyi and encouraged members to continue supporting the club leaders.
The Olumobi of Imobi-Ijesa, Oba Adetayo Haastrup hailed Agbeluyi, saying: “This is not a surprise to many of us who are your friend; your leadership qualities, humanitarian services, passion, loyalty, and total commitment to any assignment given to you can attest to your success always”.
