Jose Pena is a music talent headhunter, music producer, record executive, and CEO of Lemagicworks, Inc. Although he is now successful, Jose’s life has not always been clear sailing. Throughout his early years, Jose faced many challenges, from poverty to a lack of efficient role models. By the age of 13, Jose was sent to a juvenile detention center called “bridges” for possession of marijuana. Jose has grown from his mistakes and has since allowed these challenges to help him grow and evolve into the self-made success that he is today. Jose added, “The challenges we face and overcome are what define us. I embraced it and learned from my failures. It is the secret to my success today.”
Ten years after his incarceration, Jose discovered his love and passion for music and shot his first-ever music video at the demolished site of the juvenile detention center, where he spent many of his teenage years. Today Jose is a household name in the music industry and has worked with numerous leading names. He is grateful for his roots as it has helped him value success and remain grounded in its wake. Jose now follows his passion and helps aspiring musicians make a name for themselves. Jose knows the ropes, and he does his best to give budding talent the means and platform to grow and evolve.
