Ikoyi Club, Julius Berger sign deal to re-irrigate Ikoyi golf course

In order to ensure adequate water supply and keep the golf course in playable condition at all times, the Golf Section of Ikoyi Club 1938 has signed a deal with Julius Berger for comprehensive water irrigation of the course.

The project which will run between ten weeks was donated by Ikoyi Golf Community Nigeria Association, (IGCNA).

Speaking at the ground breaking ceremony on Tuesday, Chairman of IGCNA, Wahab Aminu-Sarumi said one of the major objectives of IGCNA is to support the infrastructural development of the golf section.

While commending Golf Captain, Meckson Innocent Okoro and his Committee for their progressive dispositions, Aminu-Sarumi said the positive partnership between the section and IGCNA helped in contemplating such a big project.
