Mummified body of an Italian woman named Marinella Beretta was found sitting at a table in her house in Prestino, near Lake Como in northern Italy.
According to Italian media reports, the body of the 70-year-old woman was discovered by the Italian police.

She was said to have no living relatives.
The discovery has prompted calls for better elder care in the country.
