Fans of the Fuji legend, late Dr. Sikiru Ayinde Barrister, are in Ibadan, Oyo state, to celebrate his 74th birthday posthumously.
The occasion tagged ‘Barryfest,’ is taking place at the Ilaji Resort, Akanran, Ibadan because it’s the hometown of the late musician.
According to the ogranisers led by Olaide Olawumi, the celebration will feature a Gala Night on Saturday, February 12, 2022, and a musical carnival on Sunday, February 13, 2022.

Olawumi, who is the Chairman, Organising Committee, said notable fuji musicians have signified their intentions to be part of the event.
“It is going to be a befitting programme in memory of the man who was so creative to bring out Fuji genre from different indigenous brands,” Olawumi said.
