A rainstorm on Friday night destroyed over 100 buildings in Irese community, Ifedore local government area.
Roofs of the buildings were completely removed while several others perimeter fences were pulled down.
Irese Community Health Centre, city hall, schools, a church and a major poultry farm were also affected.

The Olurese of Ireseland, Oba Destiny Saka, called on the State Government and elected officials from the area to render financial assistance to the victims.
