The Warri City Stadium located in the heart of Warri South council area of Delta state is wearing a new look following recent rehabilitation by The Master’s Place International Church.
The church which is situated in nearby Effurun city, plans to hold its yearly Rain of Miracles crusade on Sunday at the stadium, which until the intervention was near inhabitable.
Some of the renovation undertook by the religious outfit include roofing, painting, clearing of grasses; repair of electrical lines, air conditioners, generator plant, plumbing facilities; maintenance of the VIP lounge, the main bowl utilities and commentary room of the stadium.
Residents, including sports enthusiasts, expressed joy over the development and commended the church for the facelift and urged other organizations to emulate the gesture, as government alone cannot address all infrastructural challenges.
