The family of 22-year-old Oluwabamise Ayanwola has called on the government to ensure that her Bamise’s killers are brought to justice.

The Nation reports Bamise, who was found dead on Monday, went missing after boarding a Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) in Lagos State.

The Lagos police spokesperson, Adekunle Ajisebutu, said the body was found lying on the Carter Bridge by Ogogoro Community, Lagos Island.

Bamise, the last born of the family, until her gruesome murder, worked as a Fashion Designer at Chevron Estate, Ajah.

In an interview with The Nation on Monday, Bamise’s sister, Elizabeth Ayanwola, who was weeping profusely, demanded justice from the government.

Bamise’s mother, 72-year-old Comfort Ayanwola of 10 — five boys and five girls — who has been seriously disturbed since her daughter went missing, has been crying over her daughter’s death.

“We want Justice for my sister. This is not sad. This is wicked, we want Justice,” Elizabeth cried out.

Another relation, who spoke with The Nation, called on the Lagos state government and the police to treat the case with seriousness, and punish all those involved in the barbaric act.

The relation disclosed that Bamise’s parents especially the father has been crying since he heard about the daughter’s demise.

He added that different visitors have been trooping in out of the house to condole with the family.
