APC

The Young Professionals Council of All Progressives Congress (APC) has called on aspirants in the party’s national convention to avoid campaigns of calumny not to jeopardise the party’s fortune in the 2023 election.

A statement by Director-General Seyi Bamgbade and National Secretary Hajiya Zainab Umar urged stakeholders, leaders and members to work for  peace and progress.

According to them, the aspirants were capable of delivering on APC’s mandate.

They urged party faithful to vote leaders who could unite the party, saying the group would continue on the part of peace and reconciliation.

The council called on aggrieved persons to give peace a chance and explore all means of reconciliation through the party’s internal democratic machinery.

“We pray for a trouble-free contest, though we cannot rule out the fact that some members would be aggrieved. However, we must remain one united family, focused on delivering progress and development to our party as we face the opposition in 2023.”
