Army chief promises increased security at NYSC camp

The Commander, 17 Brigade Nigerian Army Katsina, Brigadier-General Ibikunle Ajose has assured members of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) in Katsina State, that the top-most of his priorities is the comfort and safety of the corps members undergoing the orientation course in the state.

Brigadier-General Ajose, who said this when he visited the NYSC orientation camp in Katsina State, assured the authority of adequate security for Corps members in and outside the orientation camp.

The Army General was received by the State Coordintor of the NYSC Alhaji Ahidjo Yahaya and conducted round the camp.

General Ajose also promised to sponsor the finals of football and volleyball tournaments.

Also, Corps members of the 2022 Batch “A” Stream 2 undergoing the orientation course in Katsina camp have been sensitised to the dangers of mishandling cases of fire outbreaks.
