Worldwide religious body, Eckankar, has held its ECK Area Seminar at Olusegun Obasanjo Presidential Library in Abeokuta, Ogun State.
Participants at the seminar, tagged: The Miracles of Hu, came from Oyo, Osun, Ondo, Ekiti and Lagos, Port Harcourt, Asaba, and the United States.
Sam Nwobi, an Eckankar cleric in Enugu State, spoke at the seminar, which featured uplifting talks, workshops and roundtable on teachings of Eckankar-The Path of Spiritual Freedom
Speakers took members and guests into techniques with which they can tap into the miracles of Hu.
‘‘Hu is a sacred name of God, which is sung in a spiritual exercise as a prayer. It is capable of making the presence of God an everyday reality through experiences with the Holy Spirit…’’
Nwobi and other Eckankar clerics conducted workshops, one of which is: ‘Learning to Listen to the Voice of God’.
Attendance was opened to the public, with programmes to introduce guests to ECK, and others for children.
The seminar also had in attendance the Regional ECK Spiritual Aide for Nigeria, Henry Alapini.
Eckankar is registered by the Federal Government, and aimed to show the individual the way home to God.
