A United Kingdom-based Nigerian doctor, Kazeem Adesina Olasupo, has urged Muslims to rededicate their lives, increase their love for others, as well as show commitment and obedience to God’s instructions “at this period of the Islamic holy month.”
Olasupo, who is aspiring to represent Ibadan North East/ Ibadan South-East Federal Constituency, said the essence of the period was even more significant, as Nigerians found solution and divine guidance out of the current challenges they were facing.
He advised all to take the opportunity of the Ramadan fast to reflect on the problems of Nigeria, and pray for Allah’s divine intervention.
The doctor, who hails from Abidikugu compound in Isale Ijebu area of Ibadan South East Local Government, said: “2023 is very important in the history of this nation. This is the time to build this country. We must put the interest of the country at heart. This is a nation full of potential.
“We should use this period of holy month of Ramadan and beyond to pray for a peaceful atmosphere and economic stability in the country.”
