Ogun State Governor Dapo Abiodun has congratulated the Awujale and Paramount Ruler of Ijebuland, Oba Sikiru Kayode Adetona, Ogbagba II, on the 62nd anniversary of his coronation.
Hailing the monarch, the governor extolled his commitment to peace, security and development not only of Ijebuland, but also the nation at large.
In a congratulatory message at the weekend, Abiodun described Oba Adetona as a wise, quintessential and charming monarch, whose contributions to the country’s quest for peace, unity and development would come up for noble mention by historians.
“I join the rest of Ijebu people at home and abroad to felicitate His Majesty on the 62nd anniversary of his assumption of the royal office. We are proud of His Majesty who has been a pillar of support for our administration at the state and national levels.”
