‘Ojo APC should be repositioned for success’

Idiat Adebule

Former Deputy Governor of Lagos State Dr. Idiat Adebule, has urged members of the All Progressive Congress (APC) in Ojo Federal constituency to focus on repositioning Ojo for success in the next election.

She spoke during the General Assembly of the constituency at the Federal Government College Playground, Ijanikin, Lagos with a theme: Ojo APC, setting a better agenda.

Dr Adebule, who is a member of Governor Advisory Council (GAC), enjoined youths of Ojo to arise and join the leaders to move the country forward.

“We are here to bring ourselves to consciousness and reposition ourselves for success in the coming elections. We cannot be doing things the old way and expect success. This gathering was called for the youths of Ojo to join us on the journey to progress. Our leaders have been constructing roads and building hospitals but you have to vote”.

Senior Special Assistant to the President on Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), Princess Adejoke Orelope-Adefulire advised all stakeholders to revalidate their voter’s card and get others to do same.

“This is our tool to elect credible leaders. I pray God strengthens our leaders to eradicate insurgency and banditry in our land”.

Senator Musiliu Obanikoro said lot of work need to be done in getting Ojo constituency to a greater place.

“I can recall the days of Ojo majority and we want to go back to that. Lagos should be a rainbow coalition, we cannot do this alone; efforts must be geared to bring our brothers and sisters from the north, south-south and southeast to join us. If we get that done, victory is assured,” he said.

Some of the dignitaries present were APC Lagos State Chairman Cornelius Ojelabi; Commissioner for Waterfront Kabiru Abdullahi; APC Leader in Ojo Federal Constituency, Alhaji Raji Olorunfunmi; Chairman, Ojo Local Government, Rasulu Idowu and Moshood Olanrewaju, amongst others.
