Teamwork not segregation is needed in music industry, says Trazyx

Afro-pop singer, Adeyemo Odiri Olajide a.k.a Trazyx has averred that  artists need to embrace teamwork in order for the industry to realise her potential.

According to the ‘Man no be God’ singer, teamwork is needed for the industry to thrive.

“We need teamwork and not segregation. For us to realise our potential as artists we need to collaborate more rather than compete with one another.”

Tracyx also stated that multiple award-winning Nigerian artists, Wizkid and Asa inspire him greatly.

“I am inspired by Wizkid and Asa. They are both amazing Nigerian artists. My mum back then usually plays Asa’s songs every day”.

Recounting how his music journey began, the Ondo-born artiste said:” I got into music because I have the passion and love for it. I had a studio close to my house in Benin city, Edo state. I’m always around that studio to learn how to make music. As time went on, I got used to it. Whenever a beat is being played, I find it easy to vibe to it. Thereafter, I became a backup singer for some artists. I started writing songs myself and recorded my first song with a producer called eyezybeat. He told me not to give up, adding that music is in me”.
