David Guetta hops on Goya Menor’s hit track

Fast-rising artist Goya Menor has made it known that his December viral hit Ameno Amapaino now has a remix with the popular French singer and DJ, David Guetta.

Menor disclosed the collaboration in a media chat held last week.

In a statement by Menor, he said the remix is ready alongside three other versions with three notable acts.

“The Ameno Amapiano remix with Guetta is ready, and there are three other versions of the remix featuring designated Nigerian artistes for his upcoming EP.

“The biggest project on my EP is the Ameno Amapiano remix with David Guetta, then Zlatan, Magnito and Zoro, called the Wazobia remix. The concept is to give the song a new essence that people would love while covering the three major tribes in the country,” he said.

Six months after its release, Ameno Amapiano spiked the internet such that Tik-Tok global recognised its huge impact of over 4.7 million video creations globally and 9.5 billion views after the #amenoAmapianoRemix challenge kicked off on the platform.

In the same period, the song topped the Apple Music Charts in several countries such as Thailand, Uganda, South Africa, Thailand, Ghana, Sweden, Kenya, Nigeria inclusive, and more.

“The remix with David Guetta is just one. I have more international collaborations with great acts like Eric Levi and Kyera. I’ve been reached out to more by international acts from France, the US, and the UK. It’s not just a Goya Menor thing anymore but a global phenomenon,” Menor said.

He disclosed that his distribution deal with Sony Music Germany has commenced his tour of the United Kingdom and Europe.
