VALENTINE Ozigbo’s desire was to become governor of Anambra State in the last election. He ran on the platform of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) but Chukwuma Soludo of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) later emerged winner.
It was said that his political ambition was one of the reasons he left his position as the President and Group Chief Executive Officer of Transcorp Group.
Despite his loss at the Anambra election last year, however, Ozigbo has continued to maintain a positive spirit. He did not take a break from social events or go into exile.
He also remains vibrant on social media and uses his platform to celebrate family and friends.
On Wednesday, he took time out to celebrate the birthdays of his daughter Valerie and Chairman of Cubana Group, Obi Cubana.
He said he was so grateful for the amazing, brilliant, courageous woman his daughter has become.
He described Cubana as his brother and friend, adding that he is not only a top businessman but also famous for his humanitarian gestures.
