Odebiyi calls for tolerance, love

The senator representing Ogun West Tolu Odebiyi has congratulated the Muslim faithful for concluding the Ramadan fasting, paving the way for  Eid-el-fitr.

In a statement in Abuja, Odebiyi hailed Muslims for the sacrifice and self-denials that come with Ramadan.

He prayed that Allah would accept the prayers and supplications of the Muslim Ummah in these trying times.

Odebiyi  enjoined Muslims and Nigerians to imbibe the principles of tolerance, piety, charity and love as espoused by the Holy Koran; adding that those virtues would lift Nigeria from its difficulties.

He called for understanding, adding that it was the ingredient for building a united and stable society.

The senator noted the heightened political activities as a result of the 2023 elections, and urged Muslims and Christians to see themselves as brothers and sisters with malice towards none.

He hoped that with the support and understanding of all, the country would triumph from its travails stronger and better.
