A Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) presidential aspirant and former Senate President, Bukola Saraki, has promised to create democratisation of opportunities for Nigerians, regardless of their ethnic and religious background.
Saraki, who arrived in Imo State with his entourage at the weekend to meet state executive members and leaders of the party at the PDP state secretariat on Okigwe Road, Owerri, said Nigeria needed someone like him with political sagacity and experience to make opportunities available to the citizens.
“We need an enabling environment and democratisation of opportunities for all Nigerians, regardless of their ethnic and religious background.
“We also need a president who knows that equity and fairness are important for all. My paths have shown that I have demanded fairness and stood for justice. As Senate President, I stood on the integrity of the National Assembly, suffered because I allowed the Deputy Senate President to come from the Southeast,” he said.
