Primaries: Shun temptations, vote for the future, aspirant urge delegates

Youthful entrepreneur and budding politician, Eniola Adeyemi, popularly known as Wake-Up, has formally declared his intention to represent the people of Ikorodu Constituency 1 in the Lagos State House of Assembly come 2023 on the platform of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC). The aspirant is the son of a late chieftain of the party, Chief Segun Adeyemi.

The APC aspirant who made the declaration at an elaborate event in Ikorodu during the week, urged party delegates to shun the allures of money and vote for the future of the younger generation, insisting that he represents a new beginning in the politics of Ikorodu Division and Lagos State as a whole.

Flanked by party leaders and other dignitaries, the young aspirant, who is a graduate of University of Lagos, said he has been sowed into the future of the constituency by empowering over 1,500 youths and women in different capacity and also distributed WAEC and JAMB forms annually.

”Today, we are offering ourselves for your service and seeking your partnership to direct lkorodu’s path to greatness and strategic repositioning. This we cannot do alone, thus, our plea to journey with us with your support and cooperation and ensure that we emerge as the Candidate of our great party, APC, in the forthcoming primary election,” he said.

Party leaders and delegates at the event promised to ensure the emergence of Wake-Up as the candidate of party for the 2023 House of Assembly election.
