Adam Namadi, son of former Vice-President Namadi Sambo, lost his bid for the People Democratic Party (PDP) ticket for Kaduna North Federal Constituency.
He secured the least votes among three contenders.
Samaila Suleiman, the incumbent representative of the constituency, defeated Namadi and Shehu Usman.
Suleiman, who recently decamped from the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) to the PDP, won with 22 votes; Usman polled 14 votes.
