Dr. Nentewa Yilwada has emerged the All Progressive Congress(APC) governorship candidate in Plateau State.
Yilwada, polled 803 to defeat eight other aspirants in the primary held in the early hours of Friday.
Dr. Patrick Dakum came second with 70 votes while Sonny Tyoden polled 25 votes and David Dimka scored 7 votes.

Hezekiah Dimka got 6 votes; Barr. Garba Pwul bagged 2 votes; Dr. Fitka scored 2 votes while Danyaro Sarpiya polled 4 votes
Yilwada thanked the delegates and congratulated other contestants for giving a good fight.
Describing himself as leader of the generation next, he prayed that the party will not regret giving him the ticket.
