As part of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programmes, members of the Nigerian Society of Engineers (NSE) Spouse’s Forum. Lagos branch, has donated a repainted clinic and library to the management of the Pacelli School For the Blind in Lagos. Members were led by the forum’s Chairperson, Mrs. Titilayo Ogunnoiki with the support of its Chairman, Ayotunde Ogunnoiki, an engineer. It was to mark Children’s Day.
Chairperson of the Forum, Mrs. Titilayo Ogunnoiki stated that it was a gesture borne out of the feelings for children by putting smiles on their faces during the year 2022 Children’s Day celebration.
The Forum, in conjunction with the Lagos branch of NSE donated food items , confectioneries and toiletries to the school.
A cake was also donated and cut to mark the celebration.
One of the sisters in the school, Rev’d Eucharia Uwakwe (HHCJ), thanked the groups and prayed that God would replenish their pockets.
She used the opportunity to invite them to the forthcoming 60 years celebration of the existence of the school.
