An unidentified man has been killed by thunder strike in Sagamu, Ogun State.
The man, who was dressed in a blue brocade, was said to be returning from a social engagement last Saturday when the thunderstorm that accompanied a heavy rainfall struck him dead opposite the garage at Salako.
It was gathered that terrified passers-by scampered to safety, leaving the victim’s body on the street.
A source said as at 2:20pm yesterday, the victim’s remains were still lying by the road side.
It was learnt that worshippers of Sango (the god of thunder) were preparing to evacuate the body.
