Residents of Peace Home Valley Estate and Unity Estate Community Development Associations (CDAs) have expressed their support for the Lagos State Ministry of Environment and Water Resources on the construction of Isheri-Oshun/Jakande Estate drainage system in Oshodi/Isolo Local government Area.

Peace Home Valley CDA Chairman, Sir Ikechukwu Ezeonyeka said the estate supports the ministry on the construction and removal of contravention along the drainage route.

The action, he said, will eradicate flood at Oke-Afa, Bucknor, and Ejigbo environs.

Reacting to the recent protests and court process by some individuals, Unity Estate CDA Chairman, Pastor Awansu and Peace Home Valley CDA Secretary, Mrs Ajibike Adeshina, said the communities were not in support of the protest “sponsored by some individuals who are blocking the channel route.”
