Omawumi, Wande Coal usher in Quickteller Barz and Notes winners

OMAWUMI and Wande Coal are two of the music stars that ushered winners of Quickteller Barz and Notes music talent show to the Nigerian music industry.

At the talent unveiling event on Sunday, June 12, 2022, the six finalists – Ann Nankling Damar (Annie Daymar), Martins Osogwa (Marrz), Okechukwu Chiamaka Lovette (Amakarh), Prince. O. Macaulay-Smith (MillyMay Pod), Bobby Phillip Eze (Bobbi Phillie), and Emmanuel Elijah (Eljay) – were ushered into the industry as professionals.

The six winners thrilled guests with their original songs, which were produced by seasoned celebrity producers during the production camp.

Also present at the event were DJ Kaywise, Sess The Prblm, Yung Willis, Omawumi, Kemen, IllBliss, and Paul Okoye.

This is coming after weeks of talent-honing by seasoned professionals in the Nigerian music industry during the Quickteller Barz and Notes music talent show and production camp.

The talent unveiling party marks the beginning of the music careers of the rising stars with Quickteller as the accelerator through its support design. The recorded songs will be released in an EP which will be streamed across all major music streaming platforms. According to Priscilla Iyari, Brand Manager at Quickteller, the Quickteller Barz and Notes music talent hunt show was created with the sole purpose of building well-rounded music artists and showing up-and-coming artists the ropes of the music business.

The six music talents are billed to join established acts to perform at the 2022 edition of the One Music Africa Fest in Dubai.

While presenting the awards, Tomi Ogunlesi, the Group Head, Brands and Communications, assured the talents of the company’s continuous support, stating that the show was just the beginning of other greater accomplishments.
