Former Governor Ayodele Fayose won his Afao ward in Ifelodun/ Irepodun local government Areas of Ekiti State for the governorship flagbearer of the Peoples Democratic Party, Otunba Bisi Kolawole.
According to the results obtained on the INEC official result portals by our reporter, the PDP won six out of the eight wards in the governorship election with a wide margin.
The PDP polled a total of 776 votes while the APC garnered 571 votes and SDP garnered 232 votes.
