Presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Asiwaju Bola Tinubu arrived in Lagos amidst loud cheering by party chieftains, faithful and members.
Tinubu’s jet landed around 3.40pm at the presidential wing of the Murtala Mohamed Airport in Lagos.
He was accompanied by Kano Governor Abdullahi Ganduje; former Governors Kashim Shetima (Borno), Adams Oshiomhole (Edo); Senator Tokunbo Abiru (Lagos East), House of Reps member James Faleke, among others.

He was received by Lagos Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu, Deputy Governor Obafemi Hamzat, Imo Governor Hope Uzodimma, state APC chairman Cornelius Ojelabi, former Minister of Defence Senator Musiliu Obanikoro, among others.
The eager cheering crowd waited patiently for Tinubu at the airport, who upon disembarking from the aero plane, waved at them, boarded a waiting bus and headed for the palace of Oba of Lagos, Rilwan Akiolu.
The road to the Oba Akiolu’s palace was littered with party members and faithful who stood under the scorching sun to wave flags and brooms to welcome Tinubu.
Tinubu is returning to Lagos for the first time after winning the June 6-8 APC presidential primary in Abuja.
