The Presidential Candidate of the National Rescue Movement (NRM), Mazi Okwudili Nwa-Anyajike, yesterday said fixing Nigeria was a task that must be done.

He said it takes a leader like him who understands the problem of the country to transform the country.

Nwa-Anyajike spoke during an interactive session with stakeholders of the party in Aba, Abia State.

He assured Nigerians that he had all it takes to change the narrative of the most populous black nation because he understands the problem of the country and feels the pulse of the people.

The philanthropist and businessman insisted his experience, having lived amongst the downtrodden, stands him out as the right choice to lead the nation come 2023.

On the rumour that he has stepped down from the race, the NRM presidential flag bearer said it was false as he has no plan to step down for any candidate.

He called on Nigerians to support and join the party which he described as a reputable movement that will rescue the nation from the clutches of backwardness.

At the event were the state woman leader, Linda Ibeh, the State Secretary, ?wandu Chima and a host of others.

They assured him of their commitment to support and deliver the party in their various wards and polling units during the forthcoming general election.

The high point of the event was the inauguration of the presidential campaign team in the state with Mark Okorie appointed as the Director General (DG).
