Ndigbo needs politician like Tinubu –Ohanaeze Chieftain Isiguzoro

Bola Tinubu

Mazi Okechukwu Isiguzoro, a chieftain of the Ohanaeze Ndigbo worldwide has flayed the political styles of many southeast elites. He regretted that many Igbo elites have failed to make a positive impact on the zone like the APC Presidential candidate, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu has done in the South West.

His words: “The political misfortunes of the southeast are traced to the individualistic selfishness of desperate APC governors of the southeast and some southeast senators who are de-marketing the zone, their actions promoted the insecurity and economic challenges of the zone”.

“Ndigbo needs the type of leaders like APC Presidential candidate, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, who has worked hard for the southwest to regain control of mainstream politics.  Tinubu was fair to all in Lagos as the governor. He introduced all tribesmen and ethnicity in governance and empowered them, and it’s not late for southeast governors and leaders to emulate him. This is the best way to regain control of the political spectrum of the East, which is in the hands of the non-state actors.

“Ndigbo needs a new political rallying point in the absence of Dim Chukwuemeka Ojukwu and Dr. Alex Ekwueme. Tinubu’s father- figure in the southwest is exactly what is missing in the southeast, but there are still many of strongly encouraged Igbo governors who will redeem the political woes of the southeast in the future.”
