Nigeria internationals Victor Osimhen and Henry Onyekuru are expected in action as Italian Serie A side Napoli clash with Turkish side Adana Demirspor in a pre-season match tonight.
Incidentally, Osimhen only returned to training with Napoli yesterday, after coach Luciano Spalletti sent him off during a training session at the weekend.
The Napoli boss told Osimhen to “take a shower” during a training session at their Castel di Sangro preseason camp.
The 23-year-old was angered by a poor tackle from Napoli’s new signing Leo Ostigard but his unreserved complaints prompted Spalletti to send him out of training.
However, according to CalcioNapoli as per Gazzetta dello Sport, Osimhen has resumed training, and Napoli boss Spalletti quelled the tension in the team by speaking to the players.
Osimhen was all smiles during training showing peaceful ambiance has since returned to the team’s camp.
The Partenopeans have already played two games in the preseason, emphatically beating Anaunia and Perugia and will be up against Adana Demirspor today.
Osimhen would look to outdo compatriot Onyekuru, who just joined the Turkish side this summer.
