Galatasaray in pursuit of Dennis

Galatasaray have joined Premier League duo of West Ham and newly-promoted Nottingham Forest in the race to sign Super Eagles striker Emmanuel Dennis Bonaventure from Watford.

The Hornets were relegated to the Championship last season from the Premier League after a poor performance winning six, drew five and losing 27 matches to finish 19 on the log with 23 points.

The Nigerian who scored 10 Premier League goals and made six assists in 33 games, has a £25m price tag on him.

A  Nigerian  football agent based in Istanbul, Turkey informed: “Galatasaray have entered the race to sign Dennis as they have contacted his agent.

“But am yet to a certain if it will be an outright buy but I guess it’s going to be a season long loan switch for the Nigerian as the club may not ready to break the vault for him owing to the €30million asking price by Watford.”

Meanwhile, West Ham are also weighing up a raid on Dennis, 24, but the move depends on the outcome of bids for Chelsea ace Armando Broja and Sassuolo’s Gianluca Scamacca.

Only  last week, it was reported that Dennis could join  his compatriot  Taiwo Awoniyi at  Nottingham Forest.
