Abductors of a Lebanese in Owo, Ondo State, have released him after 77 days in captivity.
The Lebanese popularly called White Engineer, works with Craneburg Construction Company.
A soldier and a driver were killed by the kidnappers before they took him away.
Last month, gunmen attacked the construction firm and shot two security men and also shot at equipment on the premises.

It was not clear how much was paid to secure the Lebanese’s freedom.
Governor Rotimi Akeredolu confirmed the release of the expatriate.
“I am particularly happy that the abducted personnel with Craneburg Construction company has regained freedom. We can only imagine his ordeal in the hands of his abductors.
“We also rejoice with other officials of this construction company who had been under tremendous emotional stress as they hoped for the safe return of their colleague. We, as Government, have given them our assurances to beef up security at the construction sites henceforth,” he said.
Police spokesperson Fumilayo Odunlami could not shed light on the development even though she promised to do so.
