Life Changers Foundation (LCF) has donated support materials to two schools, Mawumadoka Orphans and Less Privileged School and Mipamawu Children School in Makoko, Lagos.

The founder of LCF, Sheri Adegbesan, said she has a desire to succour to children in disadvantaged communities.

“What struck me about Makoko is that there is no school on the water and the children on the water are afraid to come on land. These two schools go from door to door on their canoes to get the children to come to school. So when I met January Urban and Martins Joshua, they talked about their schools and I thought we could support them. I thought we should celebrate them for staying in school despite the harsh conditions, so we sponsored their end-of-year party and brought gifts for them.

“We have given them enough school uniform and bags to last them two years and we will be here if they need more. We will be doing more for the community such as distributing free eyeglasses and teaching the locals how to take care of the water they use,” she said.
