The Chairman of BUA Group and founder ASR Africa, Abdul Samad Rabiu, has donated N10billion to the Nigeria Security Support Fund.
The cash, sourced from ASR Africa, the philanthropic arm of the BUA Group conglomerate, is to be utilised for the provision of security equipment, medical and other supplies, as well as for the upgrade of health facilities and other infrastructure for families of those on the frontlines of taming the nation’s security challenges.
Rabiu made this known over the weekend when he visited President Muhammadu Buhari at the State House, Abuja, accompanied by the Group Executive Director, BUA Group Kabiru Rabiu and the Minister of Industry, Trade and Investment, Niyi Adebayo.
He briefed Buhari on ASR Africa’s activities and the strides BUA Group had made in the past few years.
