All Progressives Congress (APC) Professionals Council has said the choice of James Faleke as secretary of the Tinubu/Shettima Presidential Campaign will lead to the party’s victory in 2023.
Faleke represents Ikeja Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives.
Director-General of the council Seyi Bamigbade spoke at the weekend when he received members of Christian Ambassadors of Nigeria (CAN), led by Henry Samson, at his office in Lagos.
Bamigbade, who described Faleke as a man of honour, said he would assist to reach people at the grassroots when campaigning begins. He was confident the lawmaker would deliver beyond expectations in the new appointment.
He said: “I have confidence in him that he will work to ensure the party remains the ruling party. I pray God to strengthen him, grant him more wisdom and knowledge to be able to perform outstandingly in this new role.”
Earlier, Samson expressed the group’s delight with Faleke’s appointment, saying the lawmaker would perform well in mobilising Christians and Muslims for the success of APC before and beyond 2023.
