A firm, Eagle Search Services Limited has signed an agreement with the Association of Nigeria Private Medical Practitioners (ANPMP) on a social welfare scheme for accident victims.
The Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed during the annual general meeting of ANPMP held in Lagos.
Chief Executive Officer of the firm, Olu Bamidele Ajanaku explained that the scheme was conceived in pursuit of the good life for people to access medical care and to create a better society for everyone.
Ajanaku noted that an agreement had earlier been reached with some notable insurance companies in the country who are major stakeholders in the scheme.
He said: ‘’This project was launched on 1st December 2021 when we signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Cornerstone, NEM, and Unitrust Insurance Company. Here we are to sign the Memorandum of Understanding with the Association of Nigeria Private Medical Practitioners [ANPMP] in pursuit of a good life for our people and creating a better society.
‘’The fact that accidents on roads, rail, domestic, farms, work-related and vehicular are part of our daily existence and the need for people most especially those at the informal sector and those at the lower rung of the ladder to have access to medicare when these occur cannot be overemphasized.
‘’The certificate and card issued to every subscriber upon registration remains the only admissible document and is not transferable qualifies a subscriber to be treated at all our accredited hospitals and to benefit from accident claims calculated and administered by participating insurance companies.’’
