Imo State Governor Hope Uzodimma has restated his commitment to the entertainment industry.
He spoke when the ‘Best of Nollywood’ award team, led by Founder and Chief Executive officer, Seun Oloketuyi, visited him.
“Government will continue to support Nollywood to achieve its objectives,” Uzodinma said.
The governor also said he would support entertainment, and make Imo conducive for ease of doing business for filmmakers.
Oloketuyi, who addressed reporters after the meeting, said Uzodimma had shown dedication to entertainment, noting that being the host of 2022 edition of BON awards, Uzodimma had opened doors to the industry to contribute to the growth of the state through tourism.
