A community leader in Efon Kingdom, Ekiti State, Chief Dorcas Ebun Akanni, is dead. She was 91.
A prominent trader, the deceased was the granddaughter of the legendary Chief Adewumi Arapaiyalosi, the Obaloja of Obalu Quarter.
Mrs. Akanni was until her death the Iyalaje of Efon Kingdom. She will the buried on September 10 in the ancient town.
The deceased is survived by former House of Assembly member Afolabi Akanni, a businessman, Gbenga Akanni, other children and grandchildren.
