Six persons have been confirmed dead with three seriously injured in an accident on Ondo-Ore Road.

The accident involved a truck and a bus carrying nine passengers.

It was gathered that the bus rammed into the truck.

An eyewitness said the truck driver lost control due to brake failure and hit the truck while attempting to manoeuvre the vehicle to safety.

The witness said the driver and five others including a female child died on the spot.

Ondo State Sector Commander of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) Ezekiel SonAllah confirmed the accident, saying  “Nine people were involved in the accident; six died and three were seriously injured”.
